The Espelho Beach was considered by the Quatro Rodas Guide, the prettiest beach of the Brazilian coast for its calm, crystalline waters, cliffs, natural pools, reefs, and rivers that discharge in the sea giving a special charm to the south coast of Bahia.

It is only 21 km from the south of Trancoso Village and 80 km from the city of Porto Seguro. This ecological paradise is part of two areas of Ambient Protection and a Extractive Reserve.

Its name originated from the consequence of the solar rays in the sea forming an immense mirror when seen while looking down from a boat.

The Espelho Beach always appears prominently in main publications specialized in Tourism, becoming preferred by the ones who appreciate beaches with privacy and exuberant nature.
