From Porto Seguro until Trancoso intersection, the highway is simple and asphalted. After the Trancoso intersection the road is made of dirt until Caraiva.

Along the way there are wonderful sceneries - the Valley of the Buffaloes, the Indian reservation of Imbiriba, and Itaporanga Village.

After Itaporanga Village go toward Caraiva, as far as the entrance of the Outeiro das Brisas Condominium.

When you get there turn left to the Espelho / Curuipe Beach.

From the Condominium entrance to Espelho Beach: 5km

Disregard the Espelho / Curuipe Beaches sign on the right and remain to the left until you see the parking lot of Recanto do Espelho Inn.
